Holiday Greetings
from the AFNPC President!
Dear Members, Friends, and Supporters,

As we approach the end of the year, I want to extend my warmest wishes to you and your families for a peaceful and joyful holiday season.

While we celebrate the significant steps forward that we have taken—thanks to your dedication and hard work—we also recognize that success in our complex environment requires continuous momentum. This season offers a wonderful opportunity for collective reflection, renewal, and charting an even more powerful course for the New Year.

Let us first pause to celebrate the successful and joyous Induction and Inaugural event held earlier this year. This momentous occasion was well-attended, featuring many supportive colleagues, including the Philippine Nurses Association of America (PNAA) from across the border, and our partners in Canada, the Integrated Filipino Canadian Nurses Association (IFCNA). The event was made possible by the generous support and contributions of our dedicated sponsors, to whom we extend our profound gratitude. The event was highlighted by personal and written greetings from key leaders, an insightful panel discussion, robust networking opportunities, and a vibrant ethnic program that highlighted our rich heritage. This strong turnout and celebratory atmosphere truly energized our community.

The New Year is a time for bold aspirations, and AFNPC is energized to seize this moment. Our immediate goal is to refocus our collective energy, supported by a comprehensive Strategic Planning effort early next year. This strategic renewal will place two key pillars at its center to ensure your professional growth and our organization's lasting impact: building robust programs for Mentorship to connect seasoned professionals with emerging leaders and delivering high-value educational resources for Professional Development tailored to the evolving needs of our members.

The vitality of these initiatives relies heavily on the strength and engagement of our membership. We are excited to channel the enthusiasm of this season into collaborative action. We need your expertise, ideas, and energy to make 2026 our best year yet! In the coming weeks, look for opportunities to increase your engagement, particularly by volunteering for governance positions and to contribute to committees and mentorship programs. Your increased involvement will be the single greatest factor in realizing our dynamic goals for the New Year.

Ready to grow with us? Our collective strength is our greatest asset, and a larger, more engaged membership means a stronger voice for Filipino nurse leaders everywhere. We urge you to help us build this momentum. Share this message and invite a colleague to join AFNPC today—their expertise and passion are exactly what we need to make 2026 a year of unprecedented success.

Thank you for your unwavering commitment to AFNPC. We look forward to a dynamic and productive New Year together!
Wishing you health, happiness, and continued success.
